Bio:
My name is Deborah, and I hold a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Arkansas State University. Every person has a story, and I believe that story deserves to be heard without judgment. My passion for counseling has been shaped by experiences in a variety of settings, including community shelters and hospice care, as well as clinical work with children, adults, and couples. Throughout these experiences, I have supported individuals navigating anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, substance use, PTSD, OCD, and the effects of domestic violence.
Narrative Therapy serves as the foundation of my therapeutic approach. I believe our experiences influence our stories, but they do not have to define who we are or determine what comes next. I view my role as a supportive partner in helping clients examine the stories they have come to believe about themselves, discover new perspectives, and recognize opportunities for change. My hope is that every client leaves the therapeutic space feeling understood, encouraged, and more confident in their ability to shape their own future.
Outside of counseling, I enjoy hiking, painting, reading, trying new recipes, and making memories with the people closest to me.
